With a difficult childhood behind him, no college education, but a determination to support his mother, who has Lupus, and his sister, DoraLynn, who is developmentally delayed and profoundly deaf, Troy set a goal to emulate and meet Donald Trump. Among other enterprises, he grew his mortgage lending company and real estate portfolio from the ground up with hard work, street smarts and a talent he didn’t even know he had until The Apprentice experience: he has the highest Emotional Quotient of all the Apprentice candidates across every season of the show.
