Pioneer, Author, Distinguished Teacher of Experimental Learning
Mel Silberman is a long revered pioneer in the training and performance improvement field. With more than 35 years of experience he has created and honed techniques that inspire people through his books and active training programs.
Mel, a graduate of Brandeis University, received his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Chicago. As a licensed psychologist and a Professor of Adult & Organizational Development at Temple University, he has won two awards for his exemplary teaching.
Mel's skills, psychological insights and engaging personality have made him a popular keynote speaker and leader of conferences for the American Society for Training and Development, the International Society for Performance Improvement, Training Magazine, and the North American Simulation and Gaming Association, from whom he received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
